What We Left Out — and Why — ما تركناه ولماذا
Some virtues are famous but rest on narrations graded Da’if (weak) in this library, or not found in its Sahih/Hasan collections at all, so they are not claimed on this page: Surah Yasin as “the heart of the Quran” (Mishkat al-Masabih 2147 — weak), the marketplace dua said to earn a million good deeds (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3428 — weak), “nothing repels the Decree except dua” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2139 — weak), the famous “best dua on the Day of Arafah” wording (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3585 — weak), “the dua at the time of rain is not rejected” (Sunan Abu Dawud 2540 — the hadith is Sahih only without the rain words, which are not established), the parents of the Quran reciter being crowned with light on the Day of Judgement (Sunan Abu Dawud 1453 — weak), “Surah As-Sajdah and Al-Mulk before sleeping” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2892 — weak), the palm tree planted for saying SubhanAllahil-Azim wa bihamdihi (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3464 — weak), the fractions of the Quran claimed for Surah Az-Zalzalah and Surah Al-Kafirun (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2893 and 2894 — weak), the hump of good deeds promised for a morning tasbih (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2878 — weak), the morning and evening “Raditu billahi rabban” said to guarantee its sayer Allah’s pleasure on the Day of Judgement (Sunan Abu Dawud 5072 — weak; the narration in Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3389 carries no grade in this library), the light between the two Fridays for reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, and Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer opening Paradise — neither of the last two is established in the Sahih/Hasan collections of this library. If a sound narration for any of them is established, it will be added here with its reference.
