The Dua of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him) — دعاء ذي النون — يونس عليه السلام
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Transliteration: La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen
Meaning: “There is no god but You, glory be to You, indeed I was among the wrongdoers.” (Quran 21:87)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The supplication of Dhun-Nun when he called out in the belly of the whale… no Muslim ever supplicates with it for anything, except that Allah answers him.”
