Ask Allah for ‘Afiyah — Nothing Better Is Given — سلوا الله العفو والعافية
Abu Bakr stood on the pulpit and, weeping, reported the Prophet ﷺ standing there in the first year of the Hijrah and saying: “Ask Allah for pardon and al-‘afiyah (sound well-being), for no one is given, after certainty, anything better than ‘afiyah.”
