Chapter 138 One should not tuck up his garment in As-Salat (the prayer)
باب لاَ يَكُفُّ ثَوْبَهُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I have been ordered to prostrate on seven (bones) and not to tuck up the hair or garment."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ، لاَ أَكُفُّ شَعَرًا وَلاَ ثَوْبًا ".
