1The prescription of Friday [Salat-ul-Jumu'ah (Jumu'ah prayer)] and Khutba (religious talk) according to the Statement of Allah تعالى: "When the call is proclaimed for the Salat (prayer) of Friday (Jumu'ah prayer) come to the remembrance of Allah [Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutba) and Salat (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing)." (V.62:9)باب فَرْضِ الْجُمُعَةِ لِقَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاَةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ}.2The superiority of taking a bath on fridayباب فَضْلِ الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَهَلْ عَلَى الصَّبِيِّ شُهُودُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ3To perfume before going for the Friday (prayer)باب الطِّيبِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ4The superiority of Jumu'ah (prayer and Khutba)باب فَضْلِ الْجُمُعَةِ5Chapterباب6To use (hair) oil for the Friday prayerباب الدُّهْنِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ7To wear the best clothes (for the Jumu'ah prayer)باب يَلْبَسُ أَحْسَنَ مَا يَجِدُ8To clean the teeth with Siwak on Fridayباب السِّوَاكِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ9Whoever cleans his teeth with Siwakباب مَنْ تَسَوَّكَ بِسِوَاكِ غَيْرِهِ10What should be recited in the Fajr prayer on Fridayباب مَا يُقْرَأُ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ11To offer Jumu'ah prayer and Khutba in villages and townsباب الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْقُرَى وَالْمُدْنِ12Is the bath necessary for those who do not present themselves for the Jumu'ah prayerباب هَلْ عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَشْهَدِ الْجُمُعَةَ غُسْلٌ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ13CHAPTERباب14Not to attend the Jumu'ah (prayer) if it is raining.باب الرُّخْصَةِ إِنْ لَمْ يَحْضُرِ الْجُمُعَةَ فِي الْمَطَرِ15For whom is the Jumu'ah (prayer) compulsory?بَابُ مِنْ أَيْنَ تُؤْتَى الْجُمُعَةُ، وَعَلَى مَنْ تَجِبُ؟16The time for the Jumu'ah (prayer) is due when the sun declines (i.e. just after mid-day)باب وَقْتُ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ17If it becomes very hot on Fridaysباب إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ18To go walking unhurriedlyباب الْمَشْىِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ19One should not separate two persons on Fridaysباب لاَ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ20A man should not make his brother get up to sit in his placeباب لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَقْعُدُ فِي مَكَانِهِ21Adhan on Friday (for the Jumu'ah prayer)باب الأَذَانِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ22One Mu'adh-dhin on Fridayباب الْمُؤَذِّنِ الْوَاحِدِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ23The Imam repeats the wordings of the Adhan when he hears itباب يُؤَذِّنُ الإِمَامُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِذَا سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ24To sit on the pulpit while Adhan is pronouncedباب الْجُلُوسِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عِنْدَ التَّأْذِينِ25Adhan before delivering the Khutbaباب التَّأْذِينِ عِنْدَ الْخُطْبَةِ26(To deliver) the Khutba on the pulpitباب الْخُطْبَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ27To deliver the Khutba while standingباب الْخُطْبَةِ قَائِمًا28The facing of the Imam towards the peopleباب يَسْتَقْبِلُ الإِمَامُ الْقَوْمَ وَاسْتِقْبَالِ النَّاسِ الإِمَامَ إِذَا خَطَبَ29Saying "Ammaba'du" in the Khutbaباب مَنْ قَالَ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ بَعْدَ الثَّنَاءِ أَمَّا بَعْدُ30To sit in between the two Khutbaباب الْقَعْدَةِ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ31To listen to the Khutba (religious talk) on Fridayباب الاِسْتِمَاعِ إِلَى الْخُطْبَةِ32During the Khutba, two Rak'a Salat before sitting (Tahayyat-ul-Masjid)باب إِذَا رَأَى الإِمَامُ رَجُلاً جَاءَ وَهْوَ يَخْطُبُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ33When the Imam is delivering the Khutba, a light two Rak'a Salat (prayer) (Tahayyat-ul Masjid)باب مَنْ جَاءَ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ34To raise hands during the Khutba (religious talk)باب رَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ35Istisqa' in the Khutba on Fridayباب الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ36One should keep quiet and listen while the Imam is delivering the Khutbaباب الإِنْصَاتِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ37An hour (opportune-lucky time) on Fridayباب السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ38If some people leave while the Imam during the Salat-ul-Jumu'ahباب إِذَا نَفَرَ النَّاسُ عَنِ الإِمَامِ فِي صَلاَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَصَلاَةُ الإِمَامِ وَمَنْ بَقِيَ جَائِزَةٌ39To offer Salat before and after the Jumu'ah prayerباب الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَبْلَهَا40When the Salat is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allahبَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ}41The afternoon nap after the Jumu'ah (prayer)باب الْقَائِلَةِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ
