Chapter 56 The 'Iddah Of A Pregnant Woman Whose Husband Dies
باب عِدَّةِ الْحَامِلِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3513
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: “Subai’ah gave birth a few days after her husband died, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told her to get married.”
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِأَيَّامٍ فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ تَزَوَّجَ .
