Three-Narrator Ahadith 253
Book 3: Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal
ʿAbdullāh ibn Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that whenever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ set out on a journey, he would say: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, from a sorrowful return, from deviation after firm standing, from the supplication of the wronged, and from an ill-fated sight in family and property.”
