Chapter 31 Washing a vessel that has been licked by a dog
باب غَسْلِ الإِنَاءِ مِنْ وُلُوغِ الْكَلْبِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 364
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If a dog licks the vessel of anyome of you, let him wash it seven times.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ” إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ ” .
