Chapter 14 Greeting children and women

باب السَّلاَمِ عَلَى الصِّبْيَانِ وَالنِّسَاءِ

It was narrated that Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) came to us, and we were young boys, and he greeted us with (the greeting of) peace".

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنَحْنُ صِبْيَانٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا ‏.‏

Sunan Ibn Majah 3701

Asma bint Yazid said: "The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) passed by us, among (a group of) women, and he greeted us with (the greeting of) peace."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ، شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَتْ مَرَّ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي نِسْوَةٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا ‏.‏
