Sunan an-Nasa'i 1737
Book 20: The Book of Qiyam Al-Lail (The Night Prayer) and Voluntary Prayers During the Day
Shu’aib bin Harb reported from Malik, from Zubaid, from Ibn Abza, from his father, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in witr: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;” and “Say: O you disbelievers!;’ and ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'”
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِـ [quran sura=”87″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ [quran sura=”109″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَ [quran sura=”112″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ } .
