Sunan an-Nasa'i 1703
Book 20: The Book of Qiyam Al-Lail (The Night Prayer) and Voluntary Prayers During the Day
Zuhair narrated from Abu Ishaq, from Sa’eed bin Jubair, :
Ibn Abbas used to pray witr with three (units) with (the Surahs): “Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High” (Surah Al-A’la), “Say: O You disbelievers” (Surah Al-Kafirun), and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One” (Surah Al-Ikhlas).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلاَثٍ بِـ [quran sura=”87″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ [quran sura=”109″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَ [quran sura=”112″ aya_start=”1″ aya_end=”1″]{ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ }
