Chapter 25 The Imam Urging Ghusl During His Khutbah On Friday
بَابُ حَضِّ الإِمَامِ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ عَلَى الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1405
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered a khutbah and said: ‘When any one of you wants to go to Jumu’ah, let him perform ghusl.'”
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ” إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ” .
