Chapter 12 Clarifying that Kissing when fasting is not unlawful for the one whose desire is not provoked by that
باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ الْقُبْلَةَ فِي الصَّوْمِ لَيْسَتْ مُحَرَّمَةً عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ تُحَرِّكْ شَهْوَتَهُ
Sahih Muslim 1106 i
‘Urwa b. Zubair narrated that ‘A’isha the Mother of the Believers (Allah be pleased with her) informed him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) kissed her while fasting.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ – رضى الله عنها – أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ .
