باب التَّحِيَّةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
Sahih Muslim 875 b
This hadith is narrated by Jabir through another chain of transmitters but Hammad (one of the narrators) made no mention of the two rak’ahs.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَيَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ .
