Chapter 90 The Intercession of the Prophet (ﷺ) for Abu Talib and the reduction of his punishment as a result
باب شَفَاعَةِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَبِي طَالِبٍ وَالتَّخْفِيفِ عَنْهُ بِسَبَبِهِ
Sahih Muslim 209 c
This hadith is narrated from the Apostle (ﷺ) like one narrated by Abu ‘Uwana on the authority of the chain of transmitters like Muhammad b. Hatim, Yahya b. Sa’id, Abu Sufyan, ‘Abbas b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib and others.
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، ح
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ .
