Chapter 63 The women who present the lady to her husband
باب النِّسْوَةِ اللاَّتِي يَهْدِينَ الْمَرْأَةَ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا وَدُعَائِهِنَّ بِالْبَرَكَةِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 5162
Narrated ‘Aisha:
that she prepared a lady for a man from the Ansar as his bride and the
Prophet said, “O ‘Aisha! Haven’t you got any amusement (during the
marriage ceremony) as the Ansar like amusement?”
حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا زَفَّتِ امْرَأَةً إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ” يَا عَائِشَةُ مَا كَانَ مَعَكُمْ لَهْوٌ فَإِنَّ الأَنْصَارَ يُعْجِبُهُمُ اللَّهْوُ ”.
