Chapter 32 The salary of the administrator of an endowment
باب نَفَقَةِ الْقَيِّمِ لِلْوَقْفِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 2776
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “My heirs will not inherit a Dinar or a Dirham (i.e. money), for whatever I leave
(excluding the adequate support of my wives and the wages of my employees) is given in charity.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ” لاَ يَقْتَسِمْ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ نِسَائِي وَمَئُونَةِ عَامِلِي فَهْوَ صَدَقَةٌ ”.
