2If a person attests the honouroable record of a witnessباب إِذَا عَدَّلَ رَجُلٌ أَحَدًا فَقَالَ لاَ نَعْلَمُ إِلاَّ خَيْرًا3The witness of an eavesdropperباب شَهَادَةِ الْمُخْتَبِي4When a witness or witnesses give an evidenceبَابُ إِذَا شَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ أَوْ شُهُودٌ بِشَيْءٍ فَقَالَ آخَرُونَ مَا عَلِمْنَا ذَلِكَ. يُحْكَمُ بِقَوْلِ مَنْ شَهِدَ5The just witnessesبَابُ الشُّهَدَاءِ الْعُدُولِ6How many witnesses are sufficient to attestباب تَعْدِيلِ كَمْ يَجُوزُ7To give witness concerning lineage, foster suckling relations and dead personsباب الشَّهَادَةِ عَلَى الأَنْسَابِ وَالرَّضَاعِ الْمُسْتَفِيضِ وَالْمَوْتِ الْقَدِيمِ8The witness of a person falsely accusing somebody of illegal sexual intercourse and the witness of a thief or an adultererباب شَهَادَةِ الْقَاذِفِ وَالسَّارِقِ وَالزَّانِي9Do not be a witness for injustice, if asked for thatباب لاَ يَشْهَدُ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ جَوْرٍ إِذَا أُشْهِدَ10False witnessباب مَا قِيلَ فِي شَهَادَةِ الزُّورِ11The witness of a blind man, his marriage, his affairsبَابُ شَهَادَةِ الأَعْمَى، وَأَمْرِهِ وَنِكَاحِهِ وَإِنْكَاحِهِ وَمُبَايَعَتِهِ وَقَبُولِهِ فِي التَّأْذِينِ وَغَيْرِهِ، وَمَا يُعْرَفُ بِالأَصْوَاتِ12The witness of womenبَابُ شَهَادَةِ النِّسَاءِ13The witness of male and female slavesباب شَهَادَةِ الإِمَاءِ وَالْعَبِيدِ14The witness of a wet nurseباب شَهَادَةِ الْمُرْضِعَةِ15The women attesting each otherباب تَعْدِيلِ النِّسَاءِ بَعْضِهِنَّ بَعْضًا16If only one man attests the conduct of anotherبَابُ إِذَا زَكَّى رَجُلٌ رَجُلاً كَفَاهُ17One should say only what he knowsباب مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ الإِطْنَابِ فِي الْمَدْحِ وَلْيَقُلْ مَا يَعْلَمُ18The boys attaining the age of puberty and their witnessباب بُلُوغِ الصِّبْيَانِ وَشَهَادَتِهِمْ19The question of the judge to the plaintiff, "Have you a proof?"باب سُؤَالِ الْحَاكِمِ الْمُدَّعِيَ هَلْ لَكَ بَيِّنَةٌ قَبْلَ الْيَمِينِ20The defendant must take an oathبَابُ الْيَمِينُ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ، فِي الأَمْوَالِ وَالْحُدُودِ21If someone claims something or accuses somebody he should be given respite to get evidenceباب إِذَا ادَّعَى أَوْ قَذَفَ فَلَهُ أَنْ يَلْتَمِسَ الْبَيِّنَةَ، وَيَنْطَلِقَ لِطَلَبِ الْبَيِّنَةِ22The taking of an oath after the Asr prayerباب الْيَمِينِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ23The defendant has to take an oath wherever it becomes legally compulsoryباب يَحْلِفُ الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ حَيْثُمَا وَجَبَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْيَمِينُ، وَلاَ يُصْرَفُ مِنْ مَوْضِعٍ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ24If (some people have to take an oath) and each of them wants to take it firstباب إِذَا تَسَارَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي الْيَمِينِ25The Statement of Allah Ta'ala: "Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter..."بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً}26How to swear?بَابُ كَيْفَ يُسْتَحْلَفُ27The proof after (the defendant) has taken the oathباب مَنْ أَقَامَ الْبَيِّنَةَ بَعْدَ الْيَمِينِ28Whoever sees that promises should be fulfilledباب مَنْ أَمَرَ بِإِنْجَازِ الْوَعْدِ29Al-Mushrikun should not be asked to give witnessباب لاَ يُسْأَلُ أَهْلُ الشِّرْكِ عَنِ الشَّهَادَةِ، وَغَيْرِهَا30Drawing lots to solve problemsبَابُ الْقُرْعَةِ فِي الْمُشْكِلاَتِ
