Mishkat al-Masabih 3822
Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If you greet all and sundry, provide food, and strike the pates of enemies, you will be made heirs of paradise.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَاضْرِبُوا الْهَامَ تُوَرَّثُوا الْجِنَانَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حديثٌ غَرِيب
