Chapter 59 The Prohibition To Use Wine To Make Vinegar
باب النَّهْىِ أَنْ يُتَّخَذَ الْخَمْرُ خَلاًّ
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 1294
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
“I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ‘Can wine be used for vinegar?’ He said: ‘No'”
[Abu ‘Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيُتَّخَذُ الْخَمْرُ خَلاًّ قَالَ ” لاَ ” . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
