Chapter 22 What Has Been Related About the Prohibition Of Slapping The Cheeks And Tearing The Clothes During A Calamity
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي النَّهْىِ عَنْ ضَرْبِ الْخُدُودِ، وَشَقِّ الْجُيُوبِ عِنْدَ الْمُصِيبَةِ
Abdullah narrated that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He who slaps (his) cheeks, tears (his) clothes and calls with the call of the Jahliyyah is not one of us."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زُبَيْدٌ الأَيَامِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ شَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ وَضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَةِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
