Bulugh al-Maram: The Book of Prayer – Hadith No. 283 — By ‘Aishah (RA) is: “This is a practice of the Jews.” (Hadith No. 283)

وَفِي اَلْبُخَارِيِّ : عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ‏- رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا‏- أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِعْلُ اَلْيَهُودِ 1‏‏1 ‏- صحيح موقوفا .‏ رواه البخاري (3458)‏ من طريق مسروق ، عن عائشة ‏- رضي الله عنها‏- كانت تكره أن يجعل المصلي يده في خاصرته ، وتقول : إن اليهود تفعله .‏

And in the narration of al-Bukhari narrated by 'Aishah (RA) is: "This is a practice of the Jews."
