Amsayna 'ala Fitratil-Islam - Evening Declaration of Faith

Amsayna 'ala fitratil-Islam, wa 'ala kalimatil-ikhlas, wa 'ala dini nabiyyina Muhammadin (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), wa 'ala millati abina Ibrahima hanifan musliman wa ma kana minal-mushrikin.

It means: We have reached the evening upon the natural way of Islam, upon the word of sincere devotion, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, who was upright and submissive to Allah, and was not of the polytheists.

🕒 How many times & when: Once, in the evening; no specific number of repetitions is fixed.

Hadith ReferenceMusnad Ahmad 15360 - Hisn al-Muslim 90
Grading (Dorar.net)Shadh in its evening wording according to Al-Albani (as-Silsilah as-Sahihah 6/1230): he noted that the phrase for the evening is not preserved. The hadith itself has a sahih isnad for the morning wording (Shu'ayb al-Arna'ut, Musnad Ahmad 15360; Ibn Baz: isnad sahih).
