Not frightening others as a joke

The Prophet (SAW) said: "It is not permissible for a Muslim to frighten another Muslim."

Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud, graded Sahih, on the authority of Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib (RA)

Explanation

Startling or scaring someone for amusement is excluded from acceptable joking.
