Never issuing a religious verdict without sufficient knowledge

The Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever is given a religious verdict without [sound] knowledge, the sin of it is upon the one who gave it."

Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud, graded Hasan, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA)

Explanation
