Honoring and glorifying them

"Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and to parents, good treatment... and do not say to them [so much as], 'uff,' and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word."

Explanation

Even the mildest word of complaint is prohibited, setting an extremely high standard for respectful treatment of parents.
