Avoiding any cause that leads to parents being cursed
The Prophet (SAW) was asked, "Is it possible for a man to curse his own parents?" He replied: "Yes - he curses another man's father, so that man curses his father in return, and he curses another man's mother, so that man curses his mother in return."
Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr (RA)
Explanation
This hadith warns that cursing others' parents indirectly invites the same disrespect upon one's own.
